- Integrating Ancient with Modern
Vedika’s specifically designed curriculum integrates
ancient oral Gurukula traditions with modern Indian
University standards, to consciously integrate both the
science and spirituality of Ayurveda. Vedika infuses its
academics with ideals, skill with philosophy, practical
training with contemplative insights, and textual
study with personal experience, and medication with
meditation.
- Education Rooted In Tradition
Vedika’s Ayurveda education, rooted in its Vedic and oral
Gurukula context, supports parallel study of Vedanta and
Yoga Darshans, along with instruction in Jyotish, Vastu
Shastra, Yajna Shastra, and other Vedic sciences that
compliment the holistic study of Ayurveda. Introductory
Sanskrit is taught and students are encouraged to read
the granthas - traditional source texts.

step. Vedika teaches a daily immersion in Ayurveda
practices. This includes individualized understanding
of health-promoting foods and spices, self massage,

multidimensional healing of the student’s physical,
mental, social, and spiritual self.
