Georgy BhaalaMr. Georgy Bhaala

Mr. Georgy Bhaala is a publisher, editor, and entrepreneur whose passion is promoting traditional Indian knowledge, culture, spirituality and values. Mr. Bhaala, or Georgyji, is the Founder and Chairman of Planet Archives and the Editor-in-Chief of Tathaastu magazine, an attractive international publication offering in-depth articles on yoga, pranayama, ayurveda, meditation, eastern philosophy and spirituality by leading experts in these fields.

Georgyji has a long list of accomplishments in the field of publishing, he has produced films and documentaries, headed a music recording company, and was VP of TV Asia for several years where he initiated their programs on spiritual and healing themes including Ayurveda and Bhagavad Gita. He currently leads several interlinked ventures under Planet Archives, including Tathaastu Magazine and Retreats for dissemination of wisdom, Catch the Rhythms for spiritual event management. He organized events in the US for Swami Ramdev, India's famous Yoga and Pranayama teacher, and uplifting musical events in the US, Canada, Australia and India featuring some India's great devotional singers like Anup Jalota, Narendra Chanchal and Hans Raj Hans.

An exuberant, humble person with great devotion to the Divine Mother Shakti, Georgyji attributes his success to the mentoring and spiritual guidance of Shri Chamunda Swamiji. Chamunda Swamiji is a renowned spiritual healer and Vedic astrologer who grew up in a family devoted to traditional Ayurvedic and spiritual healing. His home was a Gurukula, and like his own teachings now it was alive with spiritual practices and devotion, as well as the knowledge of herbs, gems, astrology, healing mantras and Vedic wisdom.

Georgyji also resonates with the Gurukula style of learning because his own experience in publishing and editing was gained at an early age through extensive apprenticeship with his father, Sri Shivlal. Shri Shivlal was an eminent journalist with the Times of India, a professor of journalism in Delhi, author of over 100 books and an inspiring mentor.
