Dear Friends, You are warmly invited to participate in Vedika Gurukula's rich offerings of Ayurveda wisdom and continuing education series this spring.

Monthly Ayurveda Sangha – Free Community Education and Connection Events

Vedika community welcomes all Ayurveda explorers, believers and lovers to Ayurveda Sangha’s held every 4th Sunday of the Month followed by a vegetarian potluck meal. No RSVP required. Donations welcome. Parking is on road.

from 2 to 5 PM

In the upcoming February Sangha, community benefiting discussion will include teachings on improving sleep quality using Ayurveda, demonstration of sleep aid recipes, and preparation tips for upcoming Spring season (Vasant ritu).

Monthly Ayurveda Fundamentals Class for Beginners

Ayurveda’s holistic approach facilitates health for the whole person. The Fundamentals class provides a caring and safe space for beginners to learn more about this medical science and its fundamental principles which also incorporates psychology and spirituality, how Ayurveda foods, daily regimens, exercise, and herbs interface with conventional medical regimens, why and how one can potentially benefit; ask questions and meet others who are benefiting from embracing Ayurveda's wisdom for health and well being.

Taught by: The class is taught by Vedika's teachers as well as by Graduate Students.
Date: This class is held monthly, every third Saturday of the month
March 17th, April 21st, and May 19th
Time: 10 AM to 12:30 PM
Cost: $40 (The cost of the class includes a light Ayurvedic meal cooked in Vedika's kitchen)

Spring Electives Open to All

Improving Spine and Knee Health with Ayurveda

This class will teach target foods, recipes, herbs, oils, and yoga and pranayama to improve spine conditions and improve knee related problems such as arthritis etc.

Dates: March 31st and April 1st
Time: 9 AM to 4 PM both days

Diabetes Prevention and Care

This class will teach self-help protocols on how to better take care of chronic diabetic condition and possibly reverse pre-diabetic condition using Ayurveda.

Taught by: Vaidya, Dr. Abhijit Jinde, MD, (Ayu), H.O.D Panchakarma, Vedika Gurukula.
Dates: April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
Time: 6 to 9 PM all four nights
Cost: $150* for entire series of classes

Ayurveda Psychology for Improved Mind Health

This class is recommended to learn potent holistic knowledge and methods to improve mental health using science of Ayurveda. Register early to reserve seat.
