The Sangha is interactive, practical, informative and sublime. In this special sangha in partnership with UCSF's Osher Center Ayurveda Sangha, you will glimpse the empowering philosophy in which Ayurveda is rooted, and the innovative possibilities available. You will meet both traditional and modern experts dedicated to Ayurveda. As always, you will leave inspired and empowered with health-promoting knowledge, recipes and personal insights you can readily apply.

Pratichi Mathur

Vedika's Founder Shunya Pratichi Mathur will empower participants with Ayurveda's understanding of Vasant Ritu, the spring season notorious for allergies and colds.

Prof. Bhushan Patwardhan

Prof. Bhushan Patwardhan is Vice-Chancellor of Symbiosis International University, Pune, India -- an institute built on the Vedic vision of the World as One Family. He has been Director of the Institute for Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine in Bengaluru, India, dedicated to revitalizing the Indian traditional health sciences to enhance the quality of health care in rural and urban India.

Dr. Patwardhan is a renowned scholar, educator, scientist and visionary, whose deep sensitivities range for the ancient Gurukula tradition and to the nuances.

Dr Anand Dhruva

Dr. Anand Dhruva is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCSF, where he is on the Hematology-Oncology faculty. Also a graduate in Integrative Medicine and a student of Ayurveda, Dr. Dhruva uses this ancient science in his clinical work, conducting research on Ayurveda, Yoga, and their application to the care of cancer patients.

Dr. Dhruva is the Co-Director of the Osher Center's Ayurveda Sangha.
