Six – 3 Hour Ayurveda Classes that will Change Your Life for the Better

This is your opportunity to study with Vedika’s Pratichi Mathur. Pratichi is the Founder of Vedika Global, Inc. An Ayurveda pioneer, master healer, teacher, and published author, Pratichi hails from a lineage of Ayurveda and Vedanta sages in India. Pratichi's teachings and writings revolve around the theme of Self and reclaiming health by reclaiming connection with our inner Self.

Nature of Classes - These classes are stand alone and can be utilized by any seeker of health and wellbeing to take advantage of the wisdom of Ayurveda and apply it in daily living. Also, these classes can be considered preparatory for future students of Vedika Gurukula, as they prepare and nurture the student's mind to receive the profound wisdom and science of the sages. Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda

Two masters in their fields – James Kelleher in Vedic Astrology and Pratichi Mathur in Ayurveda – will explore the many benefits of pairing these twin sciences to ease physical, mental and emotional suffering, and to reach one's spiritual goals. A member of the audience will receive a personal session with these two experts to demonstrate the combined effects of planetary and ayurvedic influences on our being, and how these disciplines can work together to provide remedies and solutions for powerful, abiding relief.

Ayurvedic Cooking for Mind Body and Soul

Conscious food preparation is the soul of Ayurvedic cooking. Mary Thompson, senior facility at CCA brings alive her Ayurvedic cooking classes with her knowledge as well as her passion. The class includes all phases of the food preparation beginning with Ayurvedic principles around food selection, aligning our choices with constitution and the season, maximizing the potential in food for generating our well-being and the well-being of those we love and feed.  Mary teaches not only the cuisine of India but also foods from different cultures. The class will incorporate a variety of menus, so that all participants will be able to apply these principles to familiar recipes after the intensive. read more
